MAP opera nel settore della carpenteria metallica dal 1974. Fondata da Francesco Pesatori, in 10 anni, da piccola realtà di Trezzano sul Naviglio quale MAP S.n.c. era, ha acquisito una significativa esperienza e una conseguente importanza nel campo della lavorazione di strutture metalliche, diventando nel 1985 MAP S.r.l.. Nel 1988 fa ingresso in azienda Alberto Pesatori, figlio del fondatore, inserito nello staff tecnico, anno dopo anno ha percorso tutte le tappe dell’organigramma, dall’officina all’ufficio tecnico, impratichendosi in tutti gli aspetti dell’attività. Oggi è Direttore Tecnico.
MAP ha sempre saputo guardare avanti, con la consapevolezza che competenza e innovazione debbano evolvere di pari passo. L’Azienda ha quindi diversificato il proprio lavoro passando dalle realizzazioni di semplici opere da fabbro come recinzioni e cancelli, alla costruzione di strutture di carpenteria più complesse che necessitavano di un attento viluppo progettuale. La potenzialità e la disponibilità messe al servizio della clientela, unitamente alla volontà di offrire una più vasta e selezionata gamma di prodotti per poter rispondere in modo adeguato ad ogni richiesta, sono state le condizioni che hanno reso necessaria una espansione dell’area produttiva, che si è concretizzata agli inizi del 2000 con il trasferimento nella uova sede di Cornaredo, un’area scoperta di 6.000 mq e una coperta di 4.500 mq.
L’azienda è attestata SOA con qualificazione alla esecuzione di lavori pubblici nella categoria OS18 classe V per la progettazione e la realizzazione di componenti strutturali in acciaio o metallo e svolge la sua attività con il sistema di qualità conforme alla norma UNI EN ISO 9001 – UNI EN ISO 3834-2 per la saldatura e EN 1090 per il controllo di produzione di fabbrica. L’entusiasmante esperienza di Expo 2015, ha confermato l’idea che la carpenteria metallica deve continuare ad evolvere, per rispondere al meglio alle esigenze strutturali e architettoniche. Una filosofia produttiva d’avanguardia che, negli anni, ha permesso a MAP S.p.A. di esprimere al meglio le proprie potenzialità, fino a diventare punto di riferimento per il mercato.
Nel novembre 2017 MAP S.p.A. si trasferisce nell’area industriale in Via Volta 12 a Corsico (MI). Il sito produttivo ha un’estensione di 14.500 mq, è costituito da 3 capannoni disposti in parallelo con una superficie coperta di 9.000 mq e un centro direzionale di 600 mq. Certificata nel 2019 UNI ISO 45001 per il sistema di gestione per la salute e la sicurezza sul luogo di lavoro. MAP S.p.A. è in grado di dare esaurienti risposte a problemi di progettazione interna, perfezionando fino al dettaglio ogni idea del cliente o elaborando progetti già predisposti con l’ausilio di sofisticate strumentazioni CAD bi/tridimensionali, in ambito BIM.
MAP has been operated in the sector of structural steelwork since 1974. Founded by Francesco Pesatori, in the first 10 years it has grown from being a small workshop called MAP S.n.c. in Trezzano sul Naviglio, acquiring considerable experience and thus prestige in the field of metal structure production, and in 1985 it changed name and company status to MAP S.r.l.. In 1988 Alberto Pesatori, the founder’s son, joined the technical staff and, year after year, he went through all the steps of the organization chart, from the workshop to the technical office, practicing all aspects of the activity. Today he is the Technical Director.
MAP has always been able to look forward, with the awareness that competence and innovation must evolve hand in hand. The company has therefore diversified its work, moving from the creation of simple blacksmith works such as fences and gates, to the construction of more complex carpentry structures that needed careful design development. The potentials and resources placed at the disposal of the customer, along with a desire to offer an even wider and more selective range of products to be able to meet every demand with the adequate solutions, have made it necessary to acquire a larger plant, something which has been done in the early 2000, when the company moved to its new headquarters in Cornaredo, with an open area of 6,000 sqm and a covered area of 4,500 sqm.
The company is certified by SOA and may thus carry out public works in the OS18 class V category for design and construction of structural parts in steel or metal, and operates with the quality system provided by the UNI EN ISO 9001 – UNI EN ISO 3834-2 for welding and EN 1090 for factory production control. The exciting experience of Expo 2015 has confirmed the idea that metal carpentry work must continue to evolve, to meet structural and architectural needs at its best. A cutting-edge production philosophy that, over the years, has allowed MAP S.p.A. to express its potential becoming a point of reference in the market.
In November 2017 MAP S.p.A. moved to the industrial area in Via Volta 12 in Corsico (MI). The production site lies on an area of 14,500 sqm, and consists of 3 sheds arranged in parallel with a covered area of 9,000 sqm and a business center of 600 sqm. MAP S.p.A. is able to meet complex requirements with allinclusive solutions in the field of interior design, preparing detailed designs of all the customer’s ideas or developing projects that have already been defined, with the aid of sophisticated two and threedimensional CAD instruments, in BIM area.
